Web/Digital Designer
Working within the IT/Tech Space we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Digital Designer to join a growing marketing team with offices based in Portsmouth. This role offers some flexible/home working options.
This is a fantastic opportunity within a thriving business with a flexible working culture.
Although principally a design role, duties will include web development (coding) as well as CMS input.
Skills and Experience required
* 2-3 years of digital design experience in a workplace environment
* An excellent understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and a proven eye for artistic design
* A good understanding of web development including a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, ideally, JQuery, PHP or other scripting languages
* Experience of HubSpot would be extremely useful
* The ability to work from briefs and to deadlines is essential
* A passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest web technologies
* An enthusiastic can-do attitude is extremely important
* A team player but with the ability to work on standalone projects
* Experience of SEO and Google Analytics would be useful
* Knowledge of video production, animation or motion graphics would also be desirable
Your duties and responsibilities will include...
* Updating online platforms including, WordPress, HubSpot and Ghost
* Reviewing, testing and optimising UX journeys across our website, emails and landing pages
* Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction/design ideas
* Building custom landing pages and lead-gen forms
* Designing online adverts and other promotional assets
* Creating offline communications such as sales collateral and event backdrops
