Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity is available for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join an expanding family business based in, Lancashire. Working up to 50hrs per week, based on a rotational shift pattern between days and nights including Saturdays and Sundays.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the role of the Multi-Skilled Engineer will involve, but is not limited to:

Role & Responsibilities:

o Multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Elec and Mech bias)
o To take control of breakdowns
o To assist in ongoing project work
o Providing both reactive and planned preventative maintenance
o Working on a variety of production equipment, Kit includes conveyors, compressors, motors, drives and sensors, PLC's
o Fault Finding, both mechanical and electrical

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

o Time served multi skilled maintenance experience
o Strong fault finding ability both mechanically and electrically
o Analytical approach
o Manufacturing experience is highly desired
o Ability to work alone and in a team essential
