Are you a Teacher of Spanish looking for a new role from September? If you are, we may have the ideal position for you!

A Secondary School in the Washington area is seeking a Spanish Teacher who can confidently deliver GCSE to undertake a long term cover assignment which is due to start this September and ending at January 2022 at the earliest. The successful candidate will hold QTS in the UK and must be able to deliver Spanish at A-Level as well as GCSE.

The Role

Spanish Teacher with a second language (preferable, not essential)
Teaching across KS3 - KS4
Full-time post
Based in a Washington School, North of the city centre
1 term cover minimum - initial end date January 2022
The School:

New, supportive senior leadership and vibrant department
Washington - accessible via Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and Sunderland
Some GCSE booster groups to be set up and ran
The Candidate:

Must hold QTS in the UK
Must be able to confidently deliver GCSE Spanish, with A-Level being a distinct advantage
Must possess a DBS on the Update service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
Must be able to show a track record of improving pupil attainment
