GBP9.5 - GBP10.15/hour

Insight Employment are recruiting for experienced 3.5 tonne multi drop drivers to distribute ambient and fresh specialty, artisan foods to a variety of customers which include delis, cafes, farms shops and hotels across the UK.
Are you looking for permanent work?
The role: -
Role involves delivering to and checking off with customer both ambient and chilled food and drink. Customers are a mix of rural type outlets, farm shops etc and city stores, cafes etc. Collection of stock for re-routing back to warehouse also carried out during run.
You will be using a bespoke Mercedes sprinter to delivery ambient and chilled food and drink across the UK. A typical day will be between 10-20 drops which do regular require returning to the deport to reload halfway through the day and your day be around (Apply online only) miles.
The areas covered are North - Stoke/Sheffield, East - Norfolk & Suffolk, South - Kent to Hants & West - Wilts & Glos, (not all on the same day).
Key Requirements: -
* Previous experience of low drop/high miles delivery work in similar type of vehicle
* Willingness to really go out of your way to delight customers, as you are the ambassadors for the company.
* Good attention to detail in terms of navigation and checking/counting of goods.
* Must have excellent timekeeper and be extremely reliable.
* Looking for a long term, stable career with the opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow.
* Ability to work on own and use own initiative to solve problems whilst out on the road.
* Manual handling and Health & Safety knowledge
* Counterbalance forklift license preferred, but not essential.
* Must have had your driving license for at least two years, have a maximum of 6 points (no CD, DD, DR, IN endorsements)
Days & hours: -
4-day week Tuesday to Friday (occasional Monday on rota basis between Sep & Nov)
Possible Sat should there be any issues that cannot be dealt with during the normal working week, rare but possible
Start time 5.30am - finish (normal between 15:00-18:00)
Rates: -
Starting rate of GBP9.50 per hour, will raise to GBP10.15 after probationary period and will also be subject to annual increases.
This is a temp to perm position to a suitable candidate.
