JRS Associates have teamed up with a business with a great name in the local area, we're looking to add an experienced Key Account Manager into the team with past, relevant aerospace knowledge and understanding.
The exciting opportunity comes in a time of uncertainty for the UK due to COVID-19, it's refreshing to see a company expanding during these testing times.
Key Account Manager Knowledge Required:
- Experience with commercial considerations of supplying a Tier 1 aerospace manufacturer
- Experience with manufacturing considerations within a medium-volume production facility.
- Experience quoting of machining and light fabrication work for aerospace
- Experience of AS9100 requirements
- Experience of NPI for aerospace
- Ability to show negotiation skills & customer relationships
- Ability to show structured problem solving (e.g. DMAIC)
- Ability to show coaching & mentoring Others
- Ability to show leadership
Key Account Manager Qualifications & Experience Required:
- At least 5 years' commercial management experience, either with or for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 aerospace customer.
- Experienced in managing teams in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Engineering degree or similar qualification
- Project management experience
- Lean manufacturing
- Computer literate MS Word, Excel, MRP systems
