Elevation Recruitment Group Engineering & Manufacturing has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced and energetic Production Team Leader for a busy Welding & Fabrication Shop based in West Yorkshire.
The role of the Production Team Leader will be to oversee a team of circa 18-20 skilled operatives on the shop floor and 3 senior operatives. You will lead the team to achieve their daily production targets whilst driving a strong focus on quality and health & safety.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Confidently organise, lead and motivate your production team
* Manage your team to achieve targets and results around production, QHSE, and Continuous Improvement
* Monitor all processes
* Drive CI activities and implementation
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Experience with managing teams of 20+ skilled operatives
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience within a welding & fabrication manufacturing environment
* IOSH qualified
* Passion for continuous improvement and waste reduction
* Experienced with delivering appraisals, coaching, and return to work interviews
* Confident decision-maker and self-motivated
