Process Planner - Aspall Cyder Limited, an established local manufacturer of cider and vinegar. Due to an increase in demand for our production of liquids, we have an excellent opportunity for a Process Planner to join our Process Team (full-time) based in Aspall (Debenham), Suffolk.
This Process Planner role requires accurate planning and scheduling of all production activities across the Process Department, whilst setting up and developing a planning system that meets the requirements of the department and wider business. The role predominately covers planning of Fermentation and Vinegar areas within the Process Dept, whilst supporting Press & Aseptic planning; taking into account capacity constraints and planning parameters, ensuring targets are met and all interdepartmental requirements are achieved, as well as external customer requirements being fulfilled.
Other key duties include:
* Creating and issuing plans/schedules for the department and ensuring their adherence to.
* Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly reports and KPIs are completed and issued on time.
* Attending relevant meetings such as daily DDS and all planning meetings.
You will have previous production planning experience is essential, with a good level of IT skills (including Word and Excel). You will have experience setting-up and/or designing planning systems. You will need advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office systems. You will need the use of business ERP & MRP systems - SAP preferred but not essential.
This is a full-time role, typical working hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, (although flexible)
