Product Expert - Photonics - York - LM1052a
Salary / benefits: GBP30-GBP40k + Package + Bonus

Job Outline:
My client who is a leading manufacturer or Optics, Optomechanics and Photonic products, is now seeking a Product Expert to join their team in York.
Focussing on the Optical Filters product line, you will become the technical expert on all aspect of the product, its applications and both new and existing markets.
You will be responsible for providing direction to marketing, sales and business strategy, as well as identifying new and emerging markets and applications for my client's products.
You will support the company's sales and marketing activities by attending trade shows and conferences, as well writing industry articles and providing trainings and seminars
When required you will also undertake joint customer visits, acting as the product/technical expert, to support the sales process.
As well as supporting business activities regarding standard products, you will also support both the sales team and external customer with OEM products.

Qualifications/Experience:
It is expected that you will have a Degree or higher in Physics, Biomedical or Life Sciences, along with a minimum of 1 years' experience of applications using Optical Filters
