Stores Manager (Parts/Warehousing)
Horsham
GBP27,500 Per Annum + Company Performance Bonus Scheme + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
Stores Manager required for a company that are one of the UK's largest distributor of a well-recognised and highly respected brand. They are market leaders in their industry. They offer a fast moving varied role with on the job and manufacturer training.
The successful Stores Manager will have previous experience of working within parts/stores/warehouse department within any technical industry. You will have previous experience of managing a team of stores assistants and a logistics coordinator, those with supervisor experience will also be considered.
The Stores Manager Role:
* Dealing with existing suppliers from across the UK and Europe, ordering spares and parts.
* Occasionally sourcing suppliers for new parts or special parts.
* Full managerial responsibility over stores and logistics team, including hiring, firing, appraisals and disciplinarians.
* This is a hands on role with a split of 80/20 between hands on and managerial tasks.
* Attending any managerial meetings as and when required by the company director.
* Ensuring the warehouse space, is properly organised and keep in good condition.
* Working closely with the Sales, Workshop and Servicing departments.
