Our Brighton depot are currently recruiting for talented Depot Operations Manager to join the team!
The role includes:

• Customer contact - support localisation working with your Regional Sales Manager and providing feedback to your Regional General Manager regarding any service issues
• Ensure the site runs within budget, and identify local opportunities for cost savings/efficiency gains
• Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures & ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhered to on site
• Compliance management
• QC contact and tasks including probe calibration checks and site Audits
• Frontline management of drivers to ensure required delivered service levels
• On the job training for new starters
• Manage two-way communication cascade
• Driver absence and return to work management, point of contact for any potential performance, disciplinary or conduct matters
• Daily communication with the regional planning team - route balancing feedback for the following day's deliveries
• Management of administration including: invoices and driver return to stores sheets; customer cash handling and accountability for the safe based within the depot
• Route cover for unplanned absence and holidays
• Primary collection of stock from the RDC throughout the night if required (overspill/resource) You'll have:

• 2 years management experience within a distribution operation
• A full understanding of current commercial vehicle legislation.
• First class analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in implementing change and continuous improvement
• A CPC is required for this role. You'll live and breathe Customer First, and you'll enjoy working as part of a bigger team with a dedicated focus on results.
