Job role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Hourly Rate: GBP16.00 per hour with overtime at an increased rate - Annual earnings of GBP35,000 - GBP40,000
My client, a major commercial fleet maintainer with multiple sites across the UK is actively seeking to employ a skilled and experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic for their depot in Nottingham on an Early / Late shift rotation.
Working in a modern state of the art workshop facility, the successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake routine servicing, maintenance, overhauls, MOT inspections and preparation on a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers.
The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic will have City & Guilds / NVQ level three qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance as a minimum, a commercial vehicle driving licence would be beneficial however those with a standard car licence will be equally considered.
The hours of work for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic vacancy will be 06:00 - 18:00 on a 4 on 4 off day shift.
The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic can expect to earn a basic hourly rate of GBP16.00 per hour with overtime paid at an increased rate.
