Production Facilitator

The Role:

We are looking for a proactive, resilient individual to support our production function and

complement the existing team. The candidate will have excellent communication skills.

Production Responsibilities:

* Checking the weekly plan and making a list of which kitting trays need to be made up for that week's production

* Retrieving the correct drawing from the archive room

* Checking the drawing pack and care points to make sure there is no amendments also check when job complete for any amendments made by operators, if so pass to Quality for consideration

* Signing the drawing out on the drawing register / signing back in when job complete

* Issuing the correct gauges and signing these out on the gauge register / signing back in when job complete and placing back in correct gauge draws

* Putting all relevant info on the setting sheet (drawing no, date , tray no. and making sure the drawings and back sheet have been okayed to use )

* Place production check sheets in tray

* Take down to lines / operators

* Collect all kitting trays when complete (drawings, gauges and completed paperwork) and scan the completed paperwork into production records file

* Update and distribute job packs and paperwork.

* Carry out general admin to the EMR Smartsheet an keeping QA Engineer updated

* Issue and manage pre check list prior each production including managing consumables level per run.

Purchasing Responsibilities:

* Administration of indirect requisitions system

* Purchase all indirect goods and services which have been approved

* Monitor, and where necessary negotiate, best prices and deliveries with suppliers

* Manage indirect goods and services open purchase order book and expedite as required

* Complete functional tracking reports and logs (Savings/Order List/Credit card spends etc)

* Monitor indirect goods and services delivery paperwork and perform comparisons with operating system to ensuring alignment and accuracy of system transactions.

* Resolution of any issues arising that relate to indirect goods and services purchases (late / incorrect deliveries, supplier invoice difference resolution etc)

* Attend site specific production walk through and advise on any queries / issues arising in relation to indirect goods and services.

* Track and report upon all unresolved issues in relation to indirect goods and services purchasing

* Track and report any equipment requiring external calibration / repair / servicing as and when required (including cause and impact where necessary)

* Weekly Planning Reporting.

* Provide suggestions on continuous improvement of processes and tools

* Involvement with specific business projects as required.

Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Microsoft Office proficient

Working Days/Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.00 -16.00 and Friday 7.00-12.00
