Production Team Leader

Elevation are looking for forward thinking Team Leaders to work with one of our long standing clients in the Sheffield area.
Salary: GBP25,000
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday- 8am till 4.30pm

Duties of a Team Leader:
*Ensuring strict adherence to H&S policies
*Planning and progressing high volume, short lead time welding production
*Leadership of team of up to 20 welders/ press brake operatives
*Reporting efficiency figures for key processes
*Leading daily shop floor meetings
*Liaising with other departments/ supervisors
*Highlighting production issues early
*Responsibility for risk assessments, H&S, audits, and safety talks

Desired experience:
*You must ideally have experience with metal working i.e fabrication/press braking/ welding previously to be considered for this role
*Must have experience of applying H&S principles/ qualification IOSH etc
*Must have knowledge of Production and KPI's
*Experience within a supervisor/ leadership role previously
*Must be a confident person to lead improvement sessions
*Ideally have an understanding/ interpretation of engineering drawings
*Must be computer literate for this role
*Experience of robot welding is desirable but not essential
*Must be able to work under pressure and think 'outside the box'
*Provide support and succession planning for supervisor
