Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: Qualified Lecturer: GBP24,594 - GBP35,377, Unqualified Lecturer: GBP21,386 - GBP30,811. Plus GBP3k project fund allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of Work: Full Time, 37 hours a week

The College is looking to recruit an outstanding Lecturer in Automotive Engineering and Motorsport who is an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated individual capable of supporting delivery of Automotive engineering qualifications across the curriculum range including developing the HE provision.

You will be expected to be able to teach theoretical and practical sessions defined by the course specification covering Automotive engineering principles. The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the engineering industry whilst having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experience to the future generation of engineers.

You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to covey industry standard information and ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner.

You will need to hold a minimum of a Level 3 Automotive qualification. Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, the role can be an entry into teaching meaning no previous experience of teaching necessary. Having the confidence and willingness to do so however, must come from within the applicant. Fareham College will offer teacher training to those wishing to enter the teaching profession.
