Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a an established, family run business who are looking for a HSE Advisor to join their manufacturing operation in Doncaster. Supplying into a buoyant industry, the business have a low turnover of staff and a positive safety culture driven from the top down but are looking for a HSE Professional to take them from "good" to "great".
Duties & responsibilities include:
* Create and maintain a vibrant health & safety culture.
* Mentor & support departmental safety & environmental activities.
* Support departmental management in the development of risk assessments & safe systems of work.
* Support departmental management in the investigation of accidents & incidents.
* Review accident investigation submissions for adequacy & accuracy.
* Support training and suggest improvements or additional training after reviews.
* Review HSE systems and instigate new processes where required.
* Liaise with the companies' insurers & their agents in matters pertaining to health & safety.
* Liaise with External Agencies as required.
* Conduct routine reviews of training requirements across site to ensure the site and staff are operating in a safe and responsible manner
I'm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:
* Must hold a NEBOSH Certificate and ideally working towards the diploma
* Member of IOSH desirable
* Experience within a medium-heavy manufacturing environment
* Experience assessing of installation and service work on customers sites is preferred but not essential.
* Some experience of the Design Risk Assessment process is preferred
