SQL Application Support Analyst - Bath City Centre - up to GBP35,000 + benefits
We are seeking a Support Analyst who has existing skills and experience with SQL and is looking to further develop their career by applying their knowledge to problem solve and find fixes to a business critical SQL application by problem solving issues at their root cause.
The company are a small finance technology services provider who are going through an exciting program of change and transforming their software, systems and architecture from on prem to Azure Cloud. In preparation of the new microservices architecture you will be pivotal in breaking the cycle of repetitive fixes and will work closely with the Problem Manager to provide root cause analysis and fixes.
Technical skills required:
* Good understanding of SQL including
* SQL JOINS / SQL TABLES
* INSERT
* UPDATE
* SELECT
* QUERIES
* STORED PROCEDURES
* CREATING SQL SCRIPTS
* Automating tasks with Python or Powershell
* Identifying trends and root cause analysis
The ideal candidate will be confident with their SQL problem solving skills and be looking to apply and build on that knowledge knowing that your enthusiasm will make a real difference.
