Working from North Kyme predominantly, this position is for a full time Parts Advisor with experience within the car / farm machinery industry.
You will be making up part of a small and busy team, you will be an expert or have a strong knowledge of parts. Very much customer facing, you will be helping customers find and buy parts for commercial farm machinery and equipment. The types of machinery will vary hugely. One day you could be sourcing a long forgotten part from a vintage tractor and the next finding shear bolts for farm drills.
The customers could be walk in's with one off parts paying cash through to regulars with accounts.
Not all customers order in store, many chose to order on line and you will need to be computer literate. This position has come through company growth and if you have the right experience and the want, there is certainly the room for career growth. Not just talking spares, you will need to be strong in other areas too, such as:
* Computer literacy, allocating stock, generating customer accounts, invoicing, replying to customers on -line etc.
* Excellent customer service, written and verbal
* Dealing with any warranty claims and ensuring that any paperwork relating to the claim is completed in the correct fashion
* Ordering Stock
* Putting stock away in the warehouse
* Keeping a clean and tidy warehouse / shop front
As the successful applicant, you will need a working knowledge of vehicles, big machinery, tractors, drills, and agriculture. If you have done this position before; GREAT, if not, this role would suit a computer literate service engineer / ex-farmer or someone who knows the parts and just wants a change in career. As long as you have the basics, this is a position that you can grow in to.
This is a permanent position with basic 39 hours a week. Alternative Saturday mornings, there may be overtime especially during peaks such as harvest time. Not just summer, but vegetable harvest too.
You will earn a great hourly rate depending on your experience, and 30 days holiday including stats.
