Purchasing Administrator - Near Chelmsford

Our dynamic client just outside of Chelmsford are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly team.

Due to location, a vehicle is required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Answering telephone and email enquiries and directing them to the relevant department or person
Accurately logging all incoming customer problems, sending quotations for problem call outs and forwarding to Operations Manager
Composing letters and emails in a professional manner
Organising postage, samples and deliveries
Ensuring all outgoing correspondence is well presented and free from errors
Providing administrative support for the management, project, warehouse and site-based teams
Managing the Purchasing email inbox
Processing purchase orders both internally and externally
Processing supplier invoices
Liaising with suppliers on delivery dates and requesting shipment dates as required
Providing updates to the Project Management team on the status of orders
Organising collections and deliveries from suppliers of the workshop shuttle run
Maintaining and updating Excel worksheets and internal databases
Prioritising workload to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner
Assisting with the implementation of new office processes and projects
Carrying out general office administration duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience of working within a similar role.
Strong Microsoft skills.
The ability to reconcile data in an efficient manner.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly organised with the ability to time manage.Location: Near Chelmsford (must drive due to location)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Salary: Dependant on experience

Assignment Type: Permanent
