Reporting to: Head of People
Based: East Croydon / Remote

What you need to know about the role???
As our next People Operations Manager, you will report into our Head of People & Development and directly manage the People Operations and ER teams.
The role of the People Operations Manager is to work with our amazing managers and teams to empower them and to facilitate the full end to end employee lifecycle in the simplest and most effective way.
Main job activities:

Managing all central People Operation processes with continuous improvement and refinement for efficient, effective, high quality services

End to end employee lifecycle management from onboarding to offboarding

Create toolkits and workflows for key processes to improve and facilitate self service

Ensure all People processes, and practices are compliant and adhere to all necessary legal requirements

Work in conjunction with the broader HR team to deliver a seamless employee experience

Build reporting and analytics capabilities to enable insights to support key business decisions with data

Utilise the systems and technology to automate processes where possible and create efficiencies through optimising the use of the People system (Workday) and other available technology

Direct Team management of People Operations and Employee Relations and ensuring that SLA's are adhered to

Extensive experience dealing with complex ER cases is of utmost importance along with exceptional employment law knowledge.

Support employees, managers and leadership on solving any day-to-day issues.

Able to make data driven insightful decisions and have strong data analytical & reporting skills

Service minded and personable approach when coaching and supporting our teams

Able to develop meaningful professional relationships with people from across the business to understand each team's purpose, qualities, challenges and ways of working

Comfortable in a fast moving organisation and able to embrace change and put people at ease

Detail orientated

Experienced with a demonstratable knowledge of UK ER legislation, practices and procedures
-
Experienced in working within a HR Business Partner or People Operations role
-
Pragmatic and commercial approach to HR processes with the ability to adapt and enhance processes to improve employee experience
-
A strong communicator with great presentation skills and the ability to facilitate plans, projects and initiatives
-
Able to work at pace and multitask effectively to work on multiple projects at the same time
-
Proven in managing a medium sized team
-
HRIS system knowledgeable - specific Workday experience would be desirable
-
Experienced in change management
