Development / Formulation Chemist

Peartree Chemicals Ltd is a small, UK based company which is leading the way in innovation and the manufacture of plastic free and eco-friendly cleaning products. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Development / Formulation Chemist to join our team in order to expand our product range and support our production team through scale up runs and Quality Control.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have a BSc in Chemistry as well as previous industrial experience, preferably in the formulation of cleaning products.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a new product development program.
• Raw material testing, selection and approval.
• Ingredient sustainability evaluation.
• New product development, performance and stability testing.
• Scale up and production support.
• Quality control and storage of production samples.
• Regulatory Compliance.

The Candidate

• Must be degree educated in Chemistry with previous industrial experience.
• Will need to create and maintain detailed records.
• Will be accurate with high levels of attention to detail.
• Must be a team player and be able to interact efficiently with other departments.
• Will be punctual and reliable.
