Here at Kingston College, we are now looking to appoint a Head of Employability to have responsibility for the overall development of employer engagement activities across the College. This includes ensuring students undertake an appropriate and relevant period of work experience/placement.
The Head of Employability will also be responsible for the development of placements in preparation for the introduction and delivery of T levels, and for the development and implementation of a range of key activities to ensure all students have the opportunity to develop their employability skills and knowledge.
We’re looking for an individual who has previous experience of successfully managing a team to include identifying training and development needs. Capable of managing a range of employability activities to include making sustained improvements, you will have a good understanding of the industries across the College and be able to demonstrate recent employer engagement activities in these areas. We’d also like you to have experience of obtaining new business and of planning high quality events and/or programmes such as; coordinating employability weeks, producing schemes of work, lesson plans and resources to support learning.
