Planned Improvements Contracts Manager

Stoke-on-Trent (Newcastle‑under‑Lyme)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to provide an excellent improvement service to our customers, ensuring that all planned maintenance and improvements works are carried out efficiently and to our high standards, specifically with regards to kitchen / bathroom installations. You will be accustomed to complying with policies, procedures, legislation and regulation, maintaining health and safety at all times and adhering to agreed budgets and targets. You will identify quality improvements and devise innovative plans that will ensure ongoing quality for our customers, taking action on feedback and working towards best practice at all times.  Working in close collaboration with the Gas and Electrical Contracts Manager, you will coordinate and plan the work for both internal and external workers involved in the delivery of the programme of work.

 

With experience of working in an asset management or maintenance field, you will manage and deliver a wide variety of improvement contracts between internal and external resources. Customer-focused, you will deliver an in-house planned improvements service to customers and manage their expectations. With strong working knowledge of contracts and health and safety legislation including the management and implementation of CDM regulations, you will be a hands-on leader who can successfully manage both a direct labour multi-disciplinary team and external contractors. It is essential that you have good attention to detail and have the ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.

 

Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full UK driving licence and a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
