Our client is looking for a User Experience researcher to join their rapidly growing Insight team.

The team supports their clients and the whole of the business with creative, innovative approaches to traditional market research.

They handle bespoke insight and research projects, explaining, predicting and measuring consumer behaviour in their clients' sectors and markets, and provide planning, strategy and innovation for their brands.

You'll be responsible for helping to design and conduct a wide variety of qualitative research projects, with a focus on digital environments and user experience (UX). From designing and running consumer workshops, testing and interviews to interpretation, analysis and debriefs, the role requires an understanding of good research practice and experience of conducting face-to-face research projects.

You will help plan fieldwork in collaboration with their clients and the wider insight team, and help collate, analyse and present the findings once the research has been conducted.

They are looking for someone with a passion for understanding people, who will be confident in a wide variety of settings and be comfortable in front of clients and customers alike.

Experience in user experience research is essential, either having studied for a degree in a relevant discipline (such as psychology, design research of HCI/Human Factors) or in direct market research experience. A broad knowledge of qualitative research techniques and approaches would be required, including:

* User experience methodology, approaches and tools

* Service design experience, including service mapping

* Designing and conducting customer and stakeholder workshops

* Co-creation and design research

* Depth interviewing techniques

* Discussion guide design

* User experience research and testing (remote and in-person, some international testing experience beneficial)

* In situ research techniques (assisted shopping etc.)

You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have outstanding written, communication, visual and presentation skills, and enjoy inspiring creativity in clients and colleagues. You will also have a full and clean UK driving license
