Salary: £31,025 to £34,472 

Full time, permanent , 37 hours per week

B3Living is currently the largest provider of social housing in the Broxbourne area, owning and managing 5000 properties in Hertfordshire and Essex. Our annual financial turnover is almost £40m and we have around 170 staff. Our mission is to make a permanent and sustainable positive change to the housing crisis in and around the borough of Broxbourne. We are financially secure and have a robust business plan that includes ambitious growth plans, with 500 new homes including shared ownership sales in our development pipeline.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a track record of delivering great customer service to work within our Property Services team, providing an excellent customer focused and comprehensive professional service to our customers.

We’ll need you to demonstrate that you:

• Can assist in the provision and delivery of an efficient and effective technical service, ensuring value for money and customer satisfaction in line with B3Living’s values and objectives.
• You will lead a team of trade operatives, supporting and working alongside them to deliver a responsive, cyclical and planned service, on time and within budget.
• Assist the Property Manager with staffing duties, including managing performance, carrying out one to one meeting and mid-year and annual reviews.
• Carry out property inspections and undertake risk assessments to ensure maintenance issues are effectively diagnosed to ensure compliance with regulations and ensuring safe working practices. Alongside this you will also carry out works as an individual craft professional to a high standard and carry out post-inspections as necessary.

Ideally we’re looking for someone with / who is:

• Qualified in an appropriate profession or trade or the equivalent experience. 
• That has supervisory management experience alongside responsive repairs and major works experience. 
• Has a good knowledge of construction and building maintenance and be flexible and open to change.
• Has good communication and IT skills.

Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check is required.
