Machine Operator

MDE are looking for a Production Operative to join a busy and expanding Production Facility in North Nottingham/Derby

You will be involved with
- Packing products on machines you are allocated to as per packing specifications.
- Finishing off parts by light trimming, labelling, packing and preparing for shipment.
- Quality control of products on your machines and report any defects to the machine setters and Supervisors
- Check that correct labels are being used in accordance with the packing specification.
- Highlight any packing specification queries to shift supervisor or SAP Coordinator
- Stack defect parts neatly at side of machines
- Inform pallet pullers of required part items and consumables
- Inform supervisor when labels are required
- Keep machine areas you have been allocated too swept and organised wherever possible. Recycle cardboard ends, damaged cardboard and polythene in relevant recycling cages
- Follow company health and safety policies. Including the correct use of PPE.

Full training will be provided. You must have your own transport to commute
