Are you an engaging Geography Teacher seeking an exciting new role next year?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a medium sized secondary school in Braintree, who are seeking a full-time Geography Teacher to join their welcoming team from September 2021 (possibly sooner for the right candidate). The school is part of a highly successful and supportive Trust and can consider applications for NQT's as well as those with experience. The role will either be on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis.
This Ofsted rated 'Good' school was praised for its significant improvements in recent years. The Trust and SLT continuously make considerable contributions and have made effective changes to improve the school. Adults and students feel valued, behaviour and attendance are very good with all parties are motivated to succeed. The successful Geography Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the Humanities curriculum.
To be successful in this Geography Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
