Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking to move into a Software Manager position? Do you want to work on the latest in cutting-edge GPS and Aerospace technology?
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to move into a Software Manager position within a fast expanding and ambitious GPS, Aerospace and Defence business. Working on the latest in GPS/GNSS technology you will play a Pivotal role in the future growth plans; as well as the current software demands of the business.
Leading from the front, the successful Software Manager must have a proven track record developing embedded software solutions ideally within Aerospace, Marine, Automotive or Security Industries.
This role would suit a Senior Software Engineer who has experience of leading teams of between 5 and 10 people and now looking for the official step up in their careers. Showing a proven record in Embedded Software Design and Software Development, this person must have a passion for all things GPS/GNSS!
The company has been established for over 30 years and have exciting plans both in terms of expansion and software. With a recent relocation and an office that has doubled in size, you will be joining a company that has grown 30% over the last year alone.
This is a great opportunity for the successful Software Manager to really influence the industry and develop the tech of the future within a small and highly dynamic team. You will be working on classified projects at the forefront of embedded systems technology across the Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Automotive and Security industries.
The role:
Manage the team of software developers and engineers (C, C++, Python, Embedded Systems).
Strong problem-solving skills (Mathematical modelling, real time algorithms).
Design and Development of embedded software solutions.The person:
Experience in managing or leading Software Development Teams.
Good understanding of Mathematics, programming languages. (C, C++, Python)
