Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a manufacturing business, experiencing an exciting period of growth who are looking to hire a Quality Engineer to join their brand new, state of the art facilities in Rotherham.
The business design, manufacture and sell products into a growing industry and are constantly evolving with plans to grow and increase output by a considerable amount over the coming months and years.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Participation in innovative projects to promote quality engineering throughout
* Supporting the new product introduction process with the development and launch of new products
* Ensure quality is built into the process from start of production (SOP)
* Supporting the development and implementation of a manufacturing process audit programme in the area of responsibility
* Conducting the audits on an ongoing basis to ensure manufacturing process controls are in place and deviations are eliminated
* Identification and recording of quality non-conformances and internal rejections, and managing the resolution process to ensure robust corrective action implementation
* Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) in the area of responsibility with the aim of risk reduction and improved controls
* Supporting the development of more robust in process controls to improve quality outputs, with a focus on error proofing
* Playing a leading role in the implementation of improved systems
* Attendance to all relevant departmental meetings, including daily cell accountability meetings
* Liaison and engagement with other areas of the quality function to progress issues highlighted in area of responsibility
* Supporting the investigation of field failures and customer returns related to your area of responsibility with a focus on true root cause identification and resolution
* Development and consolidation of documentation utilised for in-process control to ensure clarity and standardisation
* Compiling data and reports and maintenance of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in area of responsibility
* Supporting the development of improved product testing processes
I'm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:
* Proven experience in an operational quality role within a medium volume manufacturing business
* Strong knowledge of problem solving tools
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* A good understanding of mechanical engineering
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
