My client is a leading global manufacturer of specialist materials, which includes a wide range of Composite Materials, Electrical Insulations, Mica Products and a wide range of Textiles.

They are a system partner for customers in the Energy, Mobility and Industry sectors. Their materials help to responsibly secure life and technology. They are looking for a Key Account Manager within their composites division to join their global sales team.

Job specification:

You will be responsible for incoming orders and sales for a defined group of customers in the sales segment as well as new customer acquisition

Independent planning and implementation of acquisition, conditions and contracts with customers
Responsibility for pricing and maximizing earnings in coordination with Competence Centres and the line manager
Collection of customer / market / competition information to expand the strategic business fields

Systematic development of the key accounts and exploitation of the market potential
Presentation of the company to customers as well as at trade fairs and other events
Annual sales planning at customer and product level
Responsibility for the regular comparison of the planned incoming orders as well as for measures in the event of deviations

The right candidate will have:

Completed commercial or technical profession or degree
Several years of professional experience in international sales (B2B)
Travel activity at least 60% and flexibility
High affinity for technical products
Open, communicative and convincing appearance towards customers
High degree of self-motivation and independent, structured way of working
Pronounced customer orientation
Tenacity and negotiating skills

You will have a proven sales background within the composites industry
