Network Support Advisor - Colchester - GBP19,000 - GBP24,000
My client, a rapidly growing communications company based near Colchester is looking for a Network Technical Support Advisor to work mostly from home - 1 hour radius of Colchester. This is a varied role where you will be involved in BAU support (Client and Customer) on a service desk as well as projects, like migrations and installations.
Duties
** General support on customer issue/queries.
** Diagnose and resolve reported issues.
** Engage , predominantly telephone discussions, with the client's network engineer to review LAN and WAN will be suitable for the Service.
** Set up and update equipment and network monitoring.
Skills/Experience
** Previous experience with Telecommunications or Networking
** Experience with management and configuration of wired and wireless equipment such as Radios, Routers, Switches, Phones, Hotspots, PBX. And Network Cabling.
** An eager and hardworking approach, client is happy to train initially if full knowledge isn't there.
** Strong communication skills
** Adaptable to different environment, each client you support will run a slightly different platform.
** Demonstrable knowledge of Networking, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and WIFI/ Broadband (desirable)
