ERP Specialist
Job Title: ERP Specialist
Location: Derby
Salary: Negotiable
Role Summary:
Our client requires and ERP Specialist to run ERP system, improve efficiency in accordance with business requirements and advance operational effectiveness
Role and Responsibilities:
*Help to implement an ERP strategy which will identify the technologies which will drive efficiencies in the business
*Support, maintain and enhance the company's ERP solution in line with business need and continuity of service
*Provide technical triaging and 2nd line application support across business systems suite (ERP, BI, Reporting, Planning, Forecasting)
Essential Functions:
*Run the MRP at agreed intervals.
*Add and maintain the MPS as determined by the project management team
*Generate MRP recommendation reports and distribute accordingly
*Create works orders in line with MPS / MRP recommendations to allow the stores to generate picking lists for materials required by production
*Create and maintain system reports as identified by the business
*Action any system updates as necessary
*Provide support for any system issues, either identified by on-site users, or where any system issues arise, through telephone or WebEx support
*Generate various period end reports and action accordingly as agreed with the Head of Finance & IT
Skills and Experience:
*Substantial experience of maintaining and supporting ERP business systems
*Hands-on practical expertise working with BI, Forecasting and Reporting solutions
*Experience of working within a manufacturing, production, supply chain or distribution/ logistics business
*Hands-on expertise in the pro-active management of application upgrades
*Excellent communication skills and experience of working with Internal/3rd party suppliers/ partners
Preferred Education and Experience:
*Infor LN knowledge (Desirable but not essential)
*Experience ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft)
*Further IT qualifications
*Reporting tools (Crystal, Pivot tables, 'IF')
