Autism TAs required for SEN School - Part time
Nuneaton
Must be experienced supporting SEMH, Autism and Complex Behavioural Needs
GBP65-85 a day (dependant on role and experience)
GSL Education is looking for an experienced Autism Teaching Assistant in Nuneaton to have the opportunity to work in a SEN school.
The role includes working on a 1:1 basis with children who have a challenging behaviour, Autism and has been through the care system.
You will be required to provide individualized behaviour interventions within your role as well as ensuring the child's safety at all times.
This is a great chance to gain a varied range of experience which could lead to long term opportunities!
The ideal candidate would have:
Experience with ASD or Global delay.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Emotional Intelligence
Experience in a Classroom, Social Care or Youth work setting
Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
A Positive, Proactive, Professional, Friendly and Outgoing Personality
Ideally Team Teach Trained (Not a necessity)
Will have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. - If you don't already have a DBS, we can help you apply for one.
Up to date Safeguarding Certificate (We offer CPD training should you require it)
