Quality Assurance Technician - Doncaster - GBP28,000 - GBP30,000
Clemence Rogers are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a well-established and profitable business in Doncaster. Reporting into the Quality Manager and working closely with the Operations Manager you will be supporting with the development of quality systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and completing internal audits. You will be HACCP qualified and enjoy working within a small team of people ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. This position is a 50/50 split role between the office and factory and would suit someone ideally in similar role looking for their next step up. In return you will receive the following:
Benefits: GBP28,000-GBP30,000 salary, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, company pension, private health care and free parking. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Technician:
• To work closely with the Quality Manager to develop and implement relevant Hygiene Standards
• Assist in achieving customer approval and any relevant accreditation standards
• Ensure process control and finished product specifications are up to date for Raw Material
• Responsible for managing the internal audit schedule ensuring actions are completed on time to schedule
• Follow up on non compliances and customer complaints ensuring these are investigated and followed up correctly
• Highlight any training requirements inline with Quality Processes
• Supply and maintain any analytical summaries to relevant personal
As the Quality Assurance Technician you will have the following:
• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of HACCP systems, auditing processes, legal requirements, traceability systems, audit trails
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be self-motivated and able to prioritise workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to converse at all levels of management and operator teams
