As a Newly Qualified Teacher, supply teaching offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, across a wide range of year groups, but also to network within local schools right here in Shropshire.
If you do not have a permanent job or fixed-term contract lined up for 2021, Woking with TARA could provide the perfect platform for you to show potential primary schools how you work and your overall potential, ultimately, leading to long-term / permanent work.
Over the past few years, I've registered and supported NQT's through their induction year, via long-term supply and/or permanent work.
As a specialist education recruiter, we understand that your strengths lie in the classroom and not necessarily in an interview scenario, and, by offering you short-term supply cover within a school, you will have the chance to get directly into the classroom and showcase your skills via teaching.
As well as these door-opening opportunities, flexibility is also a huge advantage of supply work. You are in complete control over your availability, when you would like to work, how far you would like to go, and even which schools you would like to go to! This can be perfect whilst completing application forms and attending interviews as supply work offers complete flexibility!
Whether it's marking schemes, behavioral policies, or lesson planning, as a supply teacher, you will have a huge advantage of gaining such a large amount of experience with many different schools and education staff whilst also earning a weekly wage.
