Salary GBP21,000-GBP24,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - Shifts 8am-4:30pm and 9:30am-6pm
Location: Uxbridge

The company has been established for over 27 years and are currently going through a period of growth and as a result of this are looking to recruit for Hire Monitoring Claim Handlers to join their team.

The Job Role:

To effectively monitor and progress non-fault motor incident claims via the third party insurance companies for the duration in which the client's vehicle damages are being dealt with or the period of credit hire is ongoing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained by providing timely updates to customers on the progress of their claim
• Apply a structured approach to managing your own caseload
• Confidently negotiate with third party insurers
• Obtain updates on the progress of client's vehicle repairs
• Follow up claims progress with third party insurers to ensure losses are correctly mitigated
• Abide by guidelines agreed with the insurers to ensure that the hire charges are paid in full
• Keeping good levels of communication with other team members and other departments

Essential Skills:

• Excellent telephone manner with the ability to effectively handle inbound calls and outbound calls
• Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure
• Confident negotiator
• To be able to deal with challenging customers

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience within the credit hire or motor insurance industry
• A working knowledge of the Highway Code, common accident scenarios and standard driving practises.
