Location: Exeter
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced recruitment professional with a real passion for resourcing and the way great talent can support and develop an organisation. As a charity, we recognise that people are our number one asset, and we’re looking for a Resourcing Advisor who can build and maintain existing processes to provide a recruitment function based on great customer service, quality advice, and attracting and empowering high performance.

In the role of Resourcing Advisor, you’ll join a small HR team as the organisational lead for resourcing. You’ll take responsibility for all recruitment and onboarding activity across the organisation, partnering with our management team to empower them to make good recruitment decisions, aligned to their priorities and business need. You’ll provide advice regarding best practice and employment law, presenting practical solutions and options, and will use your expertise to attract the best people to work for our organisation.

Throughout the recruitment process you’ll keep the candidate at the heart of everything you do, making sure that EDP is represented professionally and in line with our beliefs and values. Once employees have been appointed, you’ll manage the onboarding process, ensuring all new employees have a fast, safe and warm welcome into the business.

You will be joining a small and friendly team who help each other out so you’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in a full range of generalist HR activities.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Resourcing Advisor who is truly passionate about resourcing and is keen to take the lead on developing and maintaining this function within EDP. You’ll be great at building relationships and will have experience of coaching and supporting managers to recruit the best people possible. You’ll have good knowledge of modern attraction strategies and won’t be afraid to experiment and try new things to improve the service.

This is a busy role so you’ll be great at managing multiple priorities and working at pace to achieve deadlines. You’ll be delivering as well as developing the service so superior recruitment administration skills are also key: you’ll need strong attention to detail, great organisation skills, and confidence when using a range of digital software.

In this role, you’ll spend a lot of time engaging with potential candidates so your professionalism and communication skills will be excellent, and you’ll be able to adapt to communicate appropriately with different audiences.

We’re a small team, so we’re also looking for someone who is flexible, positive, and happy to support others where needed
