£22,048 to £27,086. (Moving to Band F £24,798 on completion of Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification.)
East Coast College is looking to recruit Careers Advisers to provide aspirational information, advice, guidance and career development opportunities to all students, supporting them to make informed decisions about progression and to develop effective career management and decision making skills.
The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 4 IAG qualification and be willing to complete a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance within 18 months of appointment. You will have a positive, enthusiastic attitude, along with experience of working with students with SEND and people from diverse backgrounds. An understanding of the education setting and the need to respect of client boundaries and expectations will be an advantage, together with a good knowledge and understanding of Further & Higher Education opportunities. A full drivers’ licence and insurance covering business use is also an essential requirement.
