Research Assistant
Location: Basildon - SS15 6EF - Homeworking
Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP19,500 DOE
Term: Zero Hours Contract

We want you because we are looking to fill a telephone research role (on a zero hours contract) working in a fantastic, friendly team for a company whose purpose is to improve healthcare outcomes for the population.

We want you because you have been working in a similar market research role ideally with healthcare related organisations or agencies and have proven experience of communicating with Health Care Professionals, or other key executives.

You are confident with entering data into a bespoke system, and above all you are committed to accuracy and product improvement.

You will need a confident telephone manner, providing impeccable customer service and be able to demonstrate experience in talking to people at all levels.

Main Purpose of Role
On a day to day basis youl will be working a part of a friendly research team who are responsible for pro-actively updating and improving the data content relating to a variety of healthcare professionals such as NHS staff and Local Authority Executives. These databases are then provided to our customers to support the UK healthcare industry and growth.

The Key elements of this ever-evolving role, are:
- Speaking to a variety of individuals over the phone and via other methods of communication to update information
- Using web research and applying it to data sets
- Providing accurate, quality data
- Constantly looking for improvement and growth of the WHC data sets.

Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in the same or similar role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities and inter-personal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Confident telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and organise yourself effectively
- An understanding of Business to Business GDRP rules and regulations.
- To be comfortable working with challenging objectives and targets and have a good record of achievement in this area.
- A keen eye for detail
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- A can-do attitude
