A role has been released to HB Commercial within a fast-paced FMCG company based in Peterborough to work as an Outbound Officer.
The role would suit a candidate who can hit the ground running with experience in an FMCG environment, ideally with Supply chain and food experience as well as factory processes. You will need to have excellent communication, organisation and PC skills with great attention to detail.
You will need to have experience within exporting goods, the associated paperwork and SAP experience is desired.
* Inputting sales orders onto SAP
* Check orders have been dispatched and delivered as planned
* Work closely with warehouse teams on each site to make sure 3PL's collect stock when
required to meet customer order and site stock holding targets
* Daily checks on stock transport orders from site to 3PL, make sure that all stock
transport orders match what the 3PL say is received and manage any discrepancies with key
stakeholders to maintain stock accuracy at 3Pl and on SAP at all times.
* Help with export order and paperwork required
* Stock management, daily checks that stock on SAP matches stock on 3PL systems.
* Help prepare information for daily, weekly and monthly meetings and report on KPI's
* Fully understand the export procedure internally and externally (legislation and
documents required by HMRC)
* Work with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure export customers receive
orders OTIF with all the agreed paperwork as set out in the customer SOP.
* Support the outbound manager in keeping up to speed with import and export documentation
and legislation, working closely with the export team on future business opportunities.
* Excellent customer service skills dealing with international customers and local
authorities Daily / Weekly Meetings:
* Daily Stock update meeting - highlighting any items that are either not going to be
delivered OTIF or we are producing in the week we require the stock.
