My client is a key player within the Sporting goods industry who specialise in outdoor products. The business has seen incredible growth in the last 18 months and has positioned themselves as a key player in their sector. As a result of this success, they are looking for their next talented professional to join their customer service / account management team.

Within the Customer Service Manager role, you will work alongside the businesses team of account managers, who are based in and around the Cheshire area. So, you will have a support network of experienced professionals to lean on.

The business is going through a digital transformation and will be implementing a range of IT systems to support the customer service and account management teams, who will be at the forefront of customer service.

My client's highest priority is to be the number one in their sector within customer service, this role will play a vital role in achieving this goal.

Additional responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager role include:

  • Supervising and managing the customer service team
  • Training staff members to provide the highest standards of customer service and ensuring that all company policies are followed.
  • Working alongside the account managers to deliver the best customer service.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing international customers in the UK, France, Germany, and the US. They will be hands on team player, that is able to lead by example as well as work well within a team and individually. Ideally, they will have a background in the leisure or sports industries however other consumer markets would be considered. The candidate be technologically savvy and be able to quickly learn how to use IT system and new platforms.
