SALES ADMINISTRATOR at NSS Cleaning

NSS has the expertise and experience to provide any combination of rope access / abseiling, water-fed pole systems, truck-mounted access platforms or cradle systems. All delivered in-house to maximize control and improve service delivery.
Your Role - Main Purpose of the Job
General sales support to sales/commercial teams. Direct liaison with and progress chasing of quotes & bids thru the various departments. Drafting of bid documentation and quotation forms.
Your job will include:
* Carry out general Sales Administration across the NSS Group
* Manage the quotation process from sales to operations and onwards to client on behalf of sales management
* Site survey process management- liaising with Area and Regional management and clients
* Manipulate data as required using excel spread sheets
* Managing responses to RFI/RFP, tender opportunities
* Plan and prepare effective business presentations and proposals
* Plan, structure and progress chase the management of client handover to Operations following a purchase order
* Effective communication with functional/departmental colleagues to ensure a full understanding of operational requirements is achieved and maintained
* Upon receipt of purchase orders, create CDF's promptly and handover communication document to client with operational contacts.
* Answer telephone calls and deal with requests and queries from clients, sales team members and operational managers.
* Participate and contribute effectively to sales team meetings
* Contribute to sales initiatives, by cleaning raw databases and by prospecting/ sales calls as directed from time to time
* Utilise and maintain CRM system to manage Sales Pipeline for development of sales opportunities and Weekly/ Monthly Reports as directed from time to time
* Utilise CRM system to implement effective customer communication campaigns as directed by sales management
* Any other reasonable duties or activities as required by the Company
* Willingness to learn and adapt, ideally with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
* Excellent telephone manner with clear diction
* It would be beneficial to have experience of the window cleaning industry
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety is preferable
* An understanding of Quality Management Systems would be desirable
* An understanding of CRM
You are good at:
* High level of verbal and written literacy and good attention to detail
* Expert level experience of Excel is required
* Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and equivalent software packages.
* Previous experience of dealing with customers
* Ability to work independently and organise own priorities. Methodical approach, excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills, ability to cope calmly under pressure.
* Previous experience in preparing reports including large Excel spreadsheets
* Have a friendly helpful attitude
* Flexibility in approach and willingness to work extra hours at times
