MYNT Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with Elliott's Hygiene as Retained Partners to recruit a PERMANENT Purchasing Administrator.

Elliott's Hygiene are an independent, family-run business based in Hull. In the business for over 35 years, they are now one of the leading hygiene, packaging and catering suppliers in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Due to continued growth they are looking for a dynamic and flexible Purchasing Administrator who is experienced in dealing with multiple suppliers and many thousand SKU's. The candidate will be able to arrange and maintain accurate stock levels including inventory cycle counts reordering in line with reorder points and lead times to achieve company KPI's and complete and on-time customer orders.

Elliott's Hygiene offer an excellent friendly working environment and an attractive rate of pay, working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a slightly earlier finish on Friday.

This role will involve working closely and liaising with various internal customers from the Office Manager, Sales Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager to the Directors. We are looking for someone who is a team player, passionate, engaging and who is focused on customer care.

During busy times, and to help with customer satisfaction and getting orders out on time there may be times that you are required to help other team members, this could be liaising with customers helping the sales team, assisting the office manager with general administration duties, to loading vehicles in the warehouse to help get the deliveries out the door in a timely fashion.

Other duties and required experiences;

The use of Microsoft packages including manipulating data in EXCEL
Strong Organisational Skills
Tracking orders and expediting as and when required to do so
Placing purchase orders
On occasions you may be involved with negotiation and pricing meetings alongside the Directors
Working on web orders as well as orders placed via email or via the telephone
Counting inventory
First thing in the morning 'which is a daily activity', you will be assisting the warehouse and driving teams loading the vehicles for the customer deliveries for that day.
Liaising with suppliers arranging returns, dealing with damaged products
Excellent communication skills both in person, on the phone and in writing
This role would suit someone who has strong organisational skills, who likes speaking to suppliers, internal teams and customers, someone who likes to have variety in their day to day working life. This person would become an integral part of this amazing family business.
