Job Title: Technical Administrator
Salary: GBP24,000
Location: Doncaster
OVERVIEW:
Our client is looking for a Technical Administrator to join their long standing and committed team.
A chance to work for a family run and successful food manufacturing company in Doncaster.
This is a brand new role to the company and the chance to make the role your own and grow as the company does.
The company are a fair and progressive business who promote staff from within and offer a laid back, enjoyable work culture with a natural drive to achieve their deadlines.
Suiting someone who has previously worked in a technical admin position, ideally within food manufacturing, or at least manufacturing.
Offering a competitive salary, working hours 8:30-5:30 Monday - Friday with chance of paid over time at some weekends and on site parking.
THE ROLE:
*Work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure a smooth handover from NPD process of approved products
*Assist in traceability and mock recall exercises
*Complete internal audits
*Update product specifications
*Review and update documentation and procedures as instructed by the Technical Manager
*Liaise with customers, consumers and suppliers where necessary
*Take samples for microbiological testing and recording details
*Investigate customer complaints
*Support Technical Manager preparing and during third party audits
*Assist as a QA Assistant where required
THE CANDIDATE:
*Previous experience working within a Technical admin role is essential and ideally within the food manufacturing industry
*Possess excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels.
*A strong passion for quality and technical with ambitions for continuous improvements and promoting a positive food safety culture
*Able to work well within a team but also stand alone and be a self-motivated individual who is confident, flexible and proactive and can work well under pressure and to target deadlines
