Quality Engineer
A Quality Engineer, an all-rounder, is needed for a highly innovative manufacturer at the cutting edge of their industry. As a Quality Engineer, you will work with a global leader and work to advanced manufacturing practices. You will get to work with exceptional engineers and operators and help ensure Quality is passed on to a prestigious worldwide client base.
As a Quality Engineer your role will cover a wide variety of exciting tasks:
* Customer liaison - dealing with complaints and using advanced problem solving
* Improving the current QMS
* Play a part in Lean and CI projects
* Be hands on with the shop floor
* Become a lead for NPI activities - APQP
* Auditing - IATF 16949 internal audits and process audits
As a Quality Engineer to be considered for this role you will need to show knowledge and experience in the following areas:
* APQP
* PPAP
* FMEAs
* SPC Analysis
* ISO 9001 and ideally IATF 16949 standards
* MSA studies
* Worked with QMS
* Write SOPs / Procedures
* 8D / RCA / 5Y / Ishikawa
* Able to use Inspection measurement tools
* Dealing with customers
Desirable skills include:
* Six Sigma / Lean
* ISO 14001
* ISO 45001
* Knowledge of assembly lines - Manual / Automated
* CMM operation and programming
To be successful as a Quality Engineer you will need to have strong soft skills in communication and attention to detail.
