My client, a market leader in thier field are looking for an expericenced PCB Technician to join their team on a full time basis.
Primarily the role will involve schematic design and PCB layout of low voltage embedded circuits, taking a design from requirements capture through to manufacture and test
Prior experience of OrCAD for schematic capture and PCB layout (depending on
timescales, if they have experience of an equivalent tool such as Altium we could send
them on a training course - 1 week - to migrate to OrCAD)
Requirements capture
Interfacing with external board manufacture from quote through to board delivery
* schematic and PCB layout review
* assembly and testing of prototype designs
* writing and executing/overseeing PCB test plans
* SMD soldering experience
