Purchasing Administrator - Excellent Construction Company!
Our client is a specialist construction business, at the forefront of new building methods in the construction industry. They have an enviable portfolio of record-breaking projects across London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their team in Bedfordshire. The main purpose of the role is to ensure accurate purchase orders are created in a timely manner and ensure follow up with supplier about delivery time frame.
Their ideal candidate will have the following:
* A minimum of 3-years experience within Procurement & Supply Chain (Any industry will be considered).
* Construction industry experience would be an advantage - but not essential.
* Experience of working with Purchase Orders - raising, confirming, cancelling, amending etc.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Good working knowledge of Stock Control Systems.
* Excellent communications skills - both oral and written,
* Strong prioritisation skills
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
* Problem solving, use of own initiative
* Ability to work without close supervision
In return for the above skills and experience, the successful candidate will be offer a salary in the range of GBP23k-GBP28k, negotiable on experience, plus benefits.
