Are you passionate about education?A great opportunity has arisen for a Maths graduate to join a 'Good' rated Secondary school in Windsor as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is aimed at an enthusiastic, empathetic graduate who wants to bring their own expertise in Mathematics into the classroom. The Maths Department at this school has a strong support network. The school has not had a permanent exclusion for over 12 months, and is committed to ensure no student is left behind both pastorally and academically.
The role:
Mathematics Graduate.
Numeracy Support Assistant.
Secondary School.
Start date: July + September 2021.
1:1, small group, intensive interventions and an NSA as part of a wider class - diverse role and diverse range of students.The successful applicant will be responsible for raising attainment with vulnerable students, creating a pathway for them to leave school with a well-rounded set of mathematics skills. Pastoral care will also be key, as you will be responsible for ensuring the emotional well-being of students. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Maths graduate to gain valuable experience with young people who have complex needs, and to experience first-hand the joys of providing education to vulnerable students.
