Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity has opened up in the accounts department at Encore's head office in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

The role will cover all aspects of the day to day business finance such as management accounts preparation (including various supporting schedules), ledger/payroll reconciliations, data analysis, management and customer reports, and generally providing support to the accounts team and all key areas of the business.

The successful candidate will be personable, diligent and hardworking with a keen eye for detail.

The candidate will be either part qualified or newly qualified. If part qualified, they should be actively studying towards qualification the CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification and ideally be in the later stages of their qualification, or alternatively have at least 3 years' varied "hands on" experience working in a similar role.

IT skills are essential. It is vital that all candidates have strong Excel skills (including lookups & pivot tables) and Access database skills / experience will also prove to be advantageous.

Other general IT knowledge will be beneficial.

45 hours/week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm
