Graduate/Assistant Quantity Surveyor- Civil Engineering background
My client are a Tier 1 contractor who have been established for over 110 years covering all divisions of Constriction.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their regional Civil Engineering division, with the initial project being based in Lowestoft.
There will be flexibility to work from home a couple days a week, with the rest being on-site.
Summary of role purpose:
A Graduate or Assistant QS will have a good knowledge of quantity surveying duties and in the case of an Assistant QS, will have a successful track record in performing these duties.
Will manage the costs of the works and ensure that their part of the project meets legal and quality standards
They will also responsible for the effective engagement and management of supply chain.What we're looking for:
Someone with a quantity surveying degree or be in the final stages of achieving the same on a part-time basis.
A Graduate QS will be proactively following the structured training programmes to achieve their professional qualifications from the RICS, ICES or CIOB.
