Study Supervisor
Contract: Temporary in the first instance
Start: ASAP
Hours: Part Time
Salary: GBP65 - GBP80pd
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a secondary school graded 'GOOD' by Oftsed, located in Fleet. The school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated study supervisor on a part time temporary basis in the first instance, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a committed graduate looking to develop and learn new skills with the potential to progress to teacher training.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth delivery of cover lessons through supervision of classes when regular teachers are absent from school. You will be working with students from Years 7-11 of different abilities across different subject areas. Your role will be very varied within the school, supervising classes for short term absences, assisting on school visits and undertaking admin work when cover is light. Support and guidance will be given to the appointed person.
The ideal candidate will:
Possess excellent communication skills and confidence when communicating to large groups
Ability to build good relationships with students and adults
Ability to combine firmness with empathy
Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
